CONAF opposes new legal obligations for Romanian entrepreneurs
The National Confederation for Female Entrepreneurship (CONAF) has raised concerns regarding a legislative proposal registered in the Romanian Senate on October 14. The proposal seeks to expand activities reserved for the legal profession and would mandate that certain written contracts be drafted specifically by lawyers.
CONAF argues that while legal assistance is essential for business security, transforming professional services into legal obligations may impose unjustified constraints on entrepreneurs. The confederation emphasizes that in an economic climate of rising costs and investment pressures, such regulations could limit the freedom of business owners to organize their operations and represent an excessive state intervention.
