CONALEP Chihuahua and SUTCONALEP sign labor agreement

CONALEP Chihuahua and the SUTCONALEP union have formalized an agreement to improve labor conditions and benefits for more than 130 unionized administrative workers. The agreement covers staff at the General Directorate and various campuses, including Chihuahua I, Chihuahua II, Cuauhtémoc, Delicias, and Parral.

Key provisions of the agreement include 10 additional days of recess, to be distributed between the end-of-school-year academic break and the December vacation period. The agreement also includes additional salary incentives. These new benefits are scheduled to take effect in January 2027.

The agreement was signed by the State General Director of CONALEP Chihuahua, Dr. Omar Bazán Flores, and the General Secretary of SUTCONALEP, Carlos Tirso Robles Ostos. Both leaders emphasized the importance of dialogue and collaboration to support the institution, which currently serves over 13,000 students.
