CONALEP Guanajuato teacher to receive automotive training in Japan

Erika Elizabeth Grimaldo Padilla, a teacher from the CONALEP León I plant in Guanajuato, has been selected for the ‘Manufacturing Automobile 2026’ scholarship to undergo automotive training in Japan.

The program is a collaborative effort with the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and focuses on intensive technical and methodological training. The curriculum incorporates the Japanese concept of ‘Monozukuri’, which emphasizes manufacturing excellence, disciplined work, and continuous improvement.

During her nearly two-month stay, Grimaldo Padilla will receive specialized training within the environment of Mazda, a major Japanese automotive company. This initiative aims to strengthen technical competencies and bring advanced industrial methodologies back to the Guanajuato educational sector.
