Concentrix expands in Portugal while closing Mauritius operations

Concentrix, a US-based multinational providing technology and customer experience services, is undergoing operational shifts across different regions. In Braga, Portugal, the company is recruiting for 200 positions, including roles in customer support, technology, and sales, with a specific focus on candidates proficient in French.

In contrast, the company has announced the cessation of its activities in Mauritius due to the loss of several clients and a lack of new contracts. This move leaves over 300 employees in Mauritius awaiting compensation details, prompting an interministerial committee to review the BPO sector. Simultaneously, Concentrix is expanding its presence in Madagascar, where it has posted openings for approximately 100 positions.
