Concepción authorities close Circo de Dinosaurios

The Municipality of Concepción has ordered the closure of the Circo de Dinosaurios, located in the Lomas de San Sebastián sector on Ramón Carrasco Street, due to operating without proper authorization.

Municipal administrator Boris Negrete stated that while the circus had applied for permits and held a patent, it failed to meet the legal requirements and municipal ordinances regarding public shows. Although the circus's legal representative was reportedly warned in late September that the facility was not ready to operate, the venue began selling tickets and performing on October 2.

In addition to lacking operational authorization, the circus faces allegations of violating the General Law of Urbanism and Construction, the Revenue Law, and traffic and road safety regulations. Local residents also raised concerns regarding massive advertising signage that obstructs sidewalks and hinders mobility for pedestrians and the elderly.
