Concepción bus driver assaulted by passenger over change

A 65-year-old bus driver in Concepción, Chile, was assaulted by a passenger following a dispute over change. The incident occurred on a “Las Bahías” line bus in the Nonguén sector. The victim sustained facial injuries and broken glasses during the attack.

Carabineros de Chile detained a 23-year-old man in connection with the assault. Authorities have processed the individual for “robo con violencia” (robbery with violence). The driver is currently under medical rest following the incident.
