Concepción del Uruguay advances regional development and infrastructure

Municipal authorities in Concepción del Uruguay, Argentina, are advancing several regional and local development initiatives. Mayors José Luis Walser of Colón and Eduardo José Lauritto of Concepción del Uruguay have established a joint working agenda focused on tourism, education, and industrial and productive development to strengthen institutional ties between the two cities.

In terms of infrastructure, the Municipality of Concepción del Uruguay has launched three tenders for paving eight blocks in the San Felipe, San Roque, and Vicente Obrego neighborhoods. The project involves an investment exceeding 349 million pesos, including the purchase of concrete.

Additionally, the municipality is supporting local education and tourism. The city provided financial aid to Technical School No. 3 (EET 3) to purchase batteries for an electric vehicle competing in the Desafío ECO YPF. Furthermore, the local Tourism Directorate is collaborating with UADER to enhance professional training and promote regional tourism through events and academic integration.
