Concepción del Uruguay announces 10 billion peso public works plan

The municipality of Concepción del Uruguay has announced a series of public works projects totaling over 10 billion pesos. These investments focus on essential services including lighting, paving, street maintenance, and storm drainage.

A primary component of the plan is the construction of a second contingency water intake system to ensure a reliable supply during exceptional circumstances. The municipality has opened a tender for water pumps and specialized piping, representing an investment of 900 million pesos. Two additional tenders for labor are expected to bring the total investment for this specific project to approximately 1.4 billion pesos.

In addition to infrastructure, the local administration is prioritizing social areas such as health, mental health, disability services, and education.
