Concepción del Uruguay conducts over 100 animal castrations

The Directorate of Zoonosis and Animal Health of the Municipality of Concepción del Uruguay reported that 101 castrations, 29 dewormings, and 48 veterinary consultations were performed during the first week of October.

In addition to these services, municipal veterinarians administered nine quintuple vaccines and one triple vaccine. The team also performed two specialized surgeries: one for a mammary tumor and a cystotomy to treat the urinary bladder.

The Castramóvil mobile unit, which previously operated in the Villa Itapé neighborhood, will now begin providing services at the Centro Integrador Comunitario (CIC). Residents in that area can request appointments Tuesday through Friday from 8:00 to 11:30, with extended hours on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 16:00 to 18:00. Residents from other parts of the city must manage their appointments at the Centro Antirrábico located at Posadas 1756.
