Concepción del Uruguay hosts 5th Philosophy Days festival

The city of Concepción del Uruguay in Argentina will hold the fifth edition of the Philosophy Days of the Río Uruguay on 14–15 August 2024. The two‑day program features talks by anthropologist Rita Segato and legal scholar Roberto Gargarella, among other speakers, and is organized by the municipal culture department.

The event was presented at a press conference in the Arturo Illia municipal auditorium, with mayor José Lauritto praising the festival as a lasting cultural fixture. A pre‑festival session titled “Philosophy and Wine” will take place on 13 August, and all activities are free and open to the public.

Organizers will soon release registration forms for participants who need a certificate or wish to attend limited‑capacity sessions.
