Concepción del Uruguay hosts APCER third padel qualifying tournament

Over three days the Asociación de Pádel Centro de Entre Ríos (APCER) staged its third qualifying tournament in Concepción del Uruguay, Argentina. More than 190 couples from the departments of Uruguay, Colón, Gualeguaychú, Villaguay, Gualeguay, Tala and even from Paysandú took part, playing at clubs La Toska, Oeste Pádel, Miami, Locos por el Pádel, Acapulco and Cedels.

The event, billed as a “snack” before the provincial championship, produced winners such as Franco Montañana and his partner Ignacio Artía in the men’s second category. APCER president Mauro Battilana hailed the tournament as a success and said organizers expect a historic turnout of over 300 couples for the provincial championship scheduled for 21‑23 August in the same city.
