Concepción del Uruguay hosts Latin American Innovation Rally 2026
The Technological Pole of Concepción del Uruguay hosted the 2026 Latin American Innovation Rally, an event where 51 students from four universities worked in interdisciplinary teams to solve real-world problems. Over a continuous 28-hour period, participants developed solutions aimed at social, environmental, and productive impact.
The initiative was driven by Argentina’s Federal Council of Engineering Deans (CONFEDI), in collaboration with academic organizations from Colombia and Mexico. The event featured more than 30 mentors from academic and productive sectors to guide the students.
In the Innovation category, the team LOISIS won first prize with their project ‘Enjambre’. In the Social Impact category, the team LOINGNNOVADORES took first place with the ‘Kit-A Barro’ project. The event was supported by a collaboration between La Nube and several institutions, including the Universidad Tecnológica Nacional (UTN), the Universidad Autónoma de Entre Ríos (UADER), the Universidad Nacional de Entre Ríos (UNER), and the Universidad de Concepción del Uruguay (UCU).
