Concepción del Uruguay hosts record Provincial Padel Tournament

The Provincial Padel Tournament has commenced in Concepción del Uruguay, organized by the Asociación de Pádel del Centro de Entre Ríos (APCER). This year's event features a record participation of 283 pairs competing across 11 male and female categories.

To support the tournament, the Municipality of Concepción del Uruguay provided financial assistance to APCER following a meeting between the association's board and local officials, including Mayor José Lauritto and Secretary of Culture, Tourism, and Sports Sergio Richard.

APCER President Mauro Battilana noted the significant growth of the sport in the region, stating that approximately 400 people play padel daily in the city. The competition utilizes more than 20 courts, including facilities at Oeste Pádel, La Toska, Miami, Locos por el Pádel, Locos Bulevar, Acapulco, Cedels, and Club Juventud de Caseros.
