Concepción del Uruguay Port exports non-GMO soybean meal to Europe

The Port of Concepción del Uruguay in Argentina has successfully processed three vessels in less than 20 days, marking a period of high activity. The most recent arrival, the Liberian-flagged freighter Eco Spotfire, arrived from Sapele, Nigeria, to export non-GMO soybean meal to Denmark.

This shipment establishes Concepción del Uruguay as the only Argentine port currently exporting non-GMO soybean meal to European markets. This follows recent operations involving the vessels African Quail and Drake Well, which exported timber to India.

Marcos Di Giuseppe, president of the Port Authority of Concepción del Uruguay, stated that the port's strategy focuses on cargo diversification and operational regularity to create economic opportunities for the region. Upcoming scheduled operations for mid-October include shipments of bulk animal feed and timber.
