Concepción woman stabbed during festival altercation

A woman was stabbed in the back during a fight at an official festival venue in Concepción, Biobío Region. The incident occurred during the third day of festivities when a dispute between two women escalated into physical violence involving a knife.

César Bobadilla, Director of Public Security for Concepción, stated that a third woman joined the altercation and attacked one of the participants from behind. The victim received emergency medical attention on-site before being transferred to the Concepción Regional Hospital. Authorities described the event as an isolated incident, noting that the overall safety balance of the festivities has remained positive.
