Danish media expert Fie West Madsen called the situation “almost unfair,” citing factors that strain the Norwegian royal family: Crown Princess Mette‑Marit's recent lung transplant, the senior age of the king and queen, and ongoing public controversy surrounding Marius Borg Høiby. Royal analyst Emma Paaske warned that without adequate space for education and a normal youth, the pressure could have long‑term negative effects. She noted that Princess Ingrid Alexandra may rely on support from her younger brother, Prince Sverre Magnus, but stressed the need to reduce the burden on her development.
