Concerts Announced in Larissa and Rhodes, Greece

A tribute concert to the late Greek composer Ilias Andriopoulos will be held on 11 September 2026 at the Alkazar Garden in Larissa. The event, organized by the Larissa Municipality’s Cultural Department and the Municipal Choir of Larissa, will feature works from Andriopoulos’s collaborations with poets such as Odysseas Elytis and George Seferis, performed by the mixed choir, the ensemble “Enodeia”, mezzo‑soprano Theodora Baka and pianist Ioanna Sipiou.

Separately, the rock act AKYLAS is scheduled to perform on 10 August 2026 at the Diagora auxiliary stadium on the island of Rhodes. Tickets are on sale through local outlets and the website rodos.live. The concert promises a unique evening of live music for attendees on the island.
