Romania hosts multiple music and poetry festivals in July 2026

The Prahova County Art Museum in Ploiești will hold a chamber‑music recital on 2 July 2026 as part of the 16th edition of the “Țintea Muzicală” festival. The free concert features the quartet Țintea – Mircea Lazăr (violin I), Olga Berar (violin II), Tamara Dica (viola) and Eugen‑Bogdan Popa (cello) – performing works by Ravel, Adina Dumitrăscu and Schubert.

On 6 June 2026 the County Library “Alexandru D. Xenopol” in Arad will present a literary morning titled “Poetry at the Fourth Power”. The event showcases contemporary poet Tibu Gelu B. and his recent volumes, with the author noting, “Poezia mea nu e făcută din cuvinte, ci din ritmul orașului care nu doarme.”

A book‑launch evening is scheduled for 1 July 2026 in Oradea, where poet Svetlana Cârstean will introduce her new collections “Restul” and “Arteziana”, and debut poet Alin Dobai will present his first volume “respirație minerală”. The session, held on the terrace of Moszkva Café, includes readings and autograph signing.

In Soroca, Moldova, a folk‑music night titled “Folk la Apollon” will take place on 28 June 2026 at the Apollon restaurant terrace, featuring performers from both Moldova and Romania. Admission is free.
