Conchalí shooting investigation targets attempted drug point takeover

A 61-year-old man was shot during an attempted robbery in Conchalí, Chile. According to the PDI, three individuals attacked the man outside his residence in an attempt to seize the property to establish a drug distribution point.

The victim sustained an abdominal wound and was transported to Hospital San José, where he remains under medical intervention but is reported to be out of life-threatening danger. Investigators identified two of the three attackers as minors. The suspects fled the scene following the attack.

The PDI and the ECOH team of the Fiscalía Centro Norte are conducting investigations, including ballistic evidence collection, to identify the perpetrators.
