Concón to host national sailing regatta

The Regata Ilustre Municipalidad de Concón is scheduled for Sunday, September 27, at the Club de Yates Higuerillas. This event marks the return of the national sailing competition for large vessels for the 2026-2027 season.

The competition features updated categories, including the introduction of the J/105 class, new regulations for classic sailboats, and a subdivision of the Cruiser series. This regatta is part of a broader series of nautical events in Concón, which will also host the Fedevela Cup, the J/105 National Championship, and the Pan American Youth Sailing Championship.

Aurelia Zulueta, President of the Club de Yates Higuerillas, noted that the municipality is establishing itself as a significant hub for nautical sports development.
