Concordia airport air connection to Buenos Aires remains suspended
Air connectivity between Concordia and Buenos Aires remains suspended, despite previous announcements by Humming Airways that services would resume by mid-October. The last recorded flight at Comodoro Pierrestegui Airport took place on July 30.
While the airline's website still lists Concordia as an available destination for ticket purchases, airport authorities have confirmed the absence of flights. Passengers have reported being unable to finalize travel arrangements. Although mechanical issues with an aircraft were cited as a potential reason for the interruption, no official explanation or definitive date for the resumption of service has been provided by the company or the local municipality.
Humming Airways operates under a 'Non-Regular' category according to the National Civil Aviation Administration (ANAC). Prior to the suspension, the route maintained a regular schedule on Tuesdays and Thursdays connecting Concordia to Aeroparque.
