Concordia begins installation of new urban transport shelters
The Municipality of Concordia has begun installing new bus shelters as part of its Infrastructure and Development Plan towards the Bicentennial. These modern shelters are designed to improve waiting conditions for commuters, including students, workers, and senior citizens.
Constructed from various thicknesses of sheet metal and structural tubing, the shelters feature LED lighting powered by solar panels and include an anti-vandalism system. Additionally, they incorporate QR codes to provide passengers with real-time information regarding their location and various bus routes.
Old shelters being replaced will be refurbished and relocated to other areas of the city to progressively expand coverage for public transport users.
