Concordia honors the legacy of Monseñor Ricardo Rösch
The city of Concordia held a ceremony to honor the legacy of Monseñor Ricardo Rösch, the first diocesan bishop of the region, marking 50 years since his passing. During the event, a commemorative plaque was unveiled at the roundabout where the avenue named in his honor begins.
Mayor Francisco Azcué described Rösch as a fundamental figure in the city's institutional history, noting that his impact extended beyond religious matters to include the development of education and community institutions. Monseñor Gustavo Gabriel Zurbriggen also spoke, highlighting Rösch's pastoral work and his dedication to helping those in need, particularly children.
