Concordia political dispute erupts over water plant completion

A political dispute has intensified in Concordia regarding the completion of the city's drinking water treatment plant. Councilman Felipe Sastre, representing Juntos por el Cambio, issued a sharp rebuke of provincial deputy Enrique Cresto following the latter's claims that Peronism would be responsible for finishing the infrastructure by 2028.

Sastre criticized Cresto's previous management, specifically pointing to his tenure at the National Entity of Water and Sanitation Works (ENOHSA) during the presidency of Alberto Fernández. The councilman argued that Cresto had four years of executive responsibility and failed to complete the project during that time.

Additionally, Sastre challenged Cresto's recent announcements regarding sanitation works in the Camba Paso neighborhood, labeling them as unfulfilled promises. He further criticized the long-standing political career of the deputy, suggesting that the local population is weary of politicians who have held various state positions for decades without delivering results.
