Concours of Elegance Germany 2026 draws record crowds in Bavaria
The Concours of Elegance Germany 2026 was staged at Gut Kaltenbrunn on the shores of Lake Tegernsee in the Bavarian Alps, attracting a record‑high number of visitors. The show featured an extensive lineup of classic and collectible cars ranging from the 1920s to contemporary models, with pre‑war, post‑war and racing vehicles on display.
A highlight of the event was the RM Sotheby’s auction held at the venue, where 20 prized automobiles changed hands. The most notable sale was the 2015 Koenigsegg One:1, one of only six ever built, followed by a 2009 Ferrari 599XX Evo, a Mercedes‑Benz CLK DTM AMG Cabriolet and a Ferrari 458 Speciale Spider. The Best‑of‑Show award went to the 1939 Horch 855 Special Roadster by Gläser, underscoring the exhibition’s status as one of Europe’s premier classic‑car gatherings.
