Concourse Media secures international pre-sales for Nicolas Cage thriller ‘Parish’

Concourse Media has announced several international pre-sales for the post-apocalyptic action thriller ‘Parish’ during the Toronto International Film Festival. The film stars Nicolas Cage, Dane DeHaan, and Alexandra Shipp.

Distribution deals have been secured with Wild Bunch for Germany, Austria, and Switzerland; Energia for Latin America; and Eagle Pictures for Italy. Additional licensing agreements include Falcon Films (Middle East), Tanweer (Greece), Noori Pictures (South Korea), Siyah Beyaz (Turkey), Dimension Pictures (India), and Paradise (CIS).

Directed by Adam Sigal, the $20 million project is set 30 years after an apocalyptic event. The plot follows a survivor living in a compound with highly-trained dogs who must decide whether to help a woman and infant seeking refuge. Production is scheduled to begin in Minnesota during the week of September 21, financed by Archetype Media Finance.
