Concrete bridge completed in Francisco Beltrão restores road link

The municipal administration of Francisco Beltrão opened traffic on the road connecting the community of Linha Hobold with Rio Pedreiro, Pedreirinho and Volta Alegre after completing a new concrete bridge. The bridge, about six metres long, replaces a wooden structure that had been closed since 10 June for construction. The project, carried out by the municipal interior department using local funds, is part of a broader goal to substitute wooden bridges with concrete ones. According to interior secretary Janir Cella, this is the sixth concrete bridge built under the current administration; the municipality already has more than 70 concrete bridges and plans to replace around 30 remaining wooden spans. Officials say the concrete bridge offers greater safety, durability and lower maintenance, improving travel conditions for residents and rural producers.

With the bridge now in service, traffic is fully restored along the route, re‑establishing the connection for the surrounding rural communities.
