Condor to launch seasonal Frankfurt‑Chicago direct flights in 2027

German airline Condor will begin a daily, seasonal service between Frankfurt Airport (FRA) and Chicago O'Hare (ORD) from 14 May 2027 through 12 September 2027. The route will operate with Airbus A330neo aircraft and will be based out of the new Terminal 3 at Frankfurt, offering passengers modern facilities and shorter connection times.

Condor’s CEO Peter Gerber said the service targets both leisure and business travelers, providing a direct link to a major U.S. metropolis and facilitating onward connections throughout Europe via Frankfurt. Chicago is highlighted as a key hub for commerce, finance and culture, and the airline expects strong demand from passengers travelling for family, tourism or work purposes.
