Condor to open first lounges at Frankfurt Airport Terminal 3
Condor, Germany’s second largest airline, plans to open its first-ever dedicated lounges at Frankfurt Airport. The carrier intends to establish two separate facilities in the new Terminal 3: one for the Schengen area and one for the non-Schengen area.
The airline is expected to move its operations from Terminal 1 to Terminal 3 in April 2027. While the terminal move is scheduled for early 2027, the lounges are not expected to be operational until later that year due to construction timelines.
CEO Peter Gerber confirmed the plans during a meeting with employees, noting that the company is evaluating various options for its premium passenger offerings. The airline is currently in discussions with Frankfurt Airport partners to finalize the details of the lounge project.
