Conectado Aprendo launches reading tutoring program in Renca

Conectado Aprendo has launched a new reading comprehension tutoring program in Renca, Chile, in partnership with the local municipality. The initiative, part of the ‘Renca Lee’ framework, aims to support more than 400 third and fourth-grade students across 24 educational establishments.

The program consists of approximately 12 tutoring sessions designed to help students advance up to eight months of school content, with the goal of reducing or eliminating existing learning gaps. Francisca Lewin, executive director of Conectado Aprendo, stated that timely intervention is essential to prevent gaps from deepening and to build student confidence. Renca Mayor Claudio Castro noted that the program is a key component of the ‘Crecer en Renca’ strategy to ensure students master reading comprehension by the end of their primary education.
