Conegliano man arrested for AI-generated child pornography

An agricultural worker from Conegliano, identified as L. T., has been arrested by the Postal Police for the production and possession of child pornography. During searches of his residences in Conegliano and San Fior, investigators seized various electronic devices containing an archive of over 300 files.

A significant aspect of the investigation is the discovery that some of the material was generated or manipulated using artificial intelligence tools. Some images were reportedly created only days before the police raid. This case highlights the growing trend of using AI to create highly realistic, sexually explicit content involving minors.

The suspect has a prior criminal record from 2018, when he was arrested for transporting eight kilograms of cocaine and ecstasy. He was subsequently arrested and taken to the Santa Bona prison.
