Confartigianato warns of fuel distributor shortages in Italy’s internal areas

Confartigianato has raised concerns regarding the shortage of fuel distributors in Italy’s internal areas. The organization warns that the progressive loss of essential services makes these territories less attractive for families and businesses.

In the Marche region, data from the Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy highlights the severity of the issue. Of the 80 municipalities classified as internal areas, 25 have no fuel distributors at all, while 29 have only one. This lack of infrastructure forces workers and businesses to travel long distances, increasing costs and reducing economic efficiency.
