Confcommercio Rimini meets new Port Authority commander

Giammaria Zanzini, president of Confcommercio Rimini, met with Ilaria Toraldo, the new commander of the Rimini Port Authority and Coast Guard, to discuss strategic regional issues.

The discussions focused on the future of Rimini’s beaches as the area prepares for a transformative phase regarding maritime state concession tenders. Zanzini emphasized the need for renewal through investments and service quality while protecting local small and medium-sized enterprises and the diversity of the tourism offer.

Other key topics included beach safety standards for tourists and residents, as well as the protection and enhancement of the local fishing industry. The meeting also addressed the commercialization of seafood, specifically regarding traceability and controls throughout the supply chain.
