Confcooperative initiatives launched in Salerno and Sassari

Confcooperative Campania has signed an agreement to establish renewable energy communities (CERs) in the Salerno region. Partnering with the Archdiocese of Salerno-Campagna-Acerno, Fratello Sole Impresa Sociale S. r. l., and the Fondazione della Comunità Salernitana, the project aims to promote environmental sustainability and combat energy poverty through a cooperative model.

The initiative will initially focus on three primary substations in the Salerno territory. The goal is to encourage clean energy self-production and sharing, with economic benefits reinvested into supporting local families in difficulty and reception facilities. The agreement spans five years and seeks to expand the model across the province using ethical and subsidized financing.

In a separate development, Confcooperative Nord Sardegna hosted an innovation event at the Sassari Chamber of Commerce. The meeting focused on providing businesses and cooperatives with strategic tools for growth, covering topics such as insurance, quality certification, technological innovation, and digital human resources management to help local enterprises meet evolving market demands.
