CONFÍE presents third quarter activity report in Sinaloa

Dr. Samuel Octavio Ojeda Gastélum, Director General of the General Coordination for the Promotion of Scientific Research and Innovation of the State of Sinaloa (CONFÍE), presented the organization's third quarter activity report for 2026. The report was delivered during the Fourth Ordinary Session of the CONFÍE Governing Board in Culiacán.

The report detailed actions taken from July to September aimed at strengthening the scientific and technological capacities of the state, supporting scientific production, and expanding public access to knowledge. Key initiatives included the Youth Talent Training (FJT) 2026 program, which provided 91 grants to support Sinaloan students in research stays, scientific summer programs, fairs, and academic competitions to foster scientific vocations.
