Confederação Maçônica do Brasil celebrates 53 years and elects new president

The Confederação Maçônica do Brasil (COMAB) is celebrating its 53rd anniversary. The organization, which originated in Belo Horizonte, has focused on promoting integration between Masonic powers, preserving traditions, and fostering educational, philanthropic, and social responsibility initiatives.

In a related leadership development, COMAB has inaugurated a new administrative cycle with the inauguration of Avelino Lombardi Junior as President for the 2026/2027 term. Lombardi Junior, the Grand Master of the Grande Oriente de Santa Catarina, holds a background in business administration and finance, currently serving as CEO of Grupo Segura. His tenure is expected to focus on modernization, strengthening governance, and integration among confederated powers.
