Conference reports from Glasgow and Berlin

The European Perl Conference was recently held in Glasgow. One attendee provided feedback on various presentations, including a session titled ‘Discourse Without Drama’. The attendee expressed skepticism regarding the speaker's focus on diversity ideology, distinguishing between the support for equal opportunities and a perceived push for equal outcomes based on physical traits.

Separately, impressions were shared regarding JSConf EU in Berlin. The attendee, a web developer transitioning into more JavaScript-focused work, noted the ease of travel from the Netherlands to Berlin and described the experience of engaging with the JavaScript community for the first time.
