Confindustria Imperia honors 13 century-old companies

Confindustria Imperia celebrated its 100th anniversary by honoring 13 member companies that have been in operation for over a century. The awards ceremony took place at Expo Salso in Imperia during events related to the “Passaggi di tempo” exhibition.

The recognized companies date from 1791 to 1921, representing a wide range of industries and sectors. The oldest recipient was Arimondo Srl, founded in 1791. Other honorees included Frantoio di Sant’Agata d’Oneglia Srl (1827), several historic hotels such as Hotel Miramare The Palace and Grand Hotel des Anglais, the Casinò di Sanremo, and Fratelli Carli Spa.

Luciano Tesorini, President of Confindustria Imperia, noted that these businesses have successfully navigated significant economic and social transformations, with some remaining under family ownership through multiple generations. He emphasized that their longevity serves as a testament to the industry's role in the economic and social history of the region.
