Confindustria Romagna supports Bologna ring road widening

Confindustria Romagna expressed satisfaction with the signing of a protocol of understanding to widen the Bologna ring road and to construct a fourth lane on the A14 highway up to the Ravenna interchange. President Mario Riciputi said the upgrade will improve territorial accessibility, reduce traffic bottlenecks and reinforce the strategic role of the Ravenna port as a gateway for raw materials to Northern Italy and the broader national production system. The association stressed the importance of respecting the announced timelines and integrating the works with the wider network of road, rail and airport infrastructure to maximise regional development.
