Confraria da Cerveja reaches 1,100 members

The Confraria da Cerveja will hold its XXII Entronização Ceremony in Mafra on October 1, marking a milestone as the organization reaches approximately 1,100 members. The event, held at the Mafra Convent, aims to highlight the role of beer as a link between people, cultures, and territories, while emphasizing its connection to gastronomy, tourism, and the national economy.

During the solemn ceremony, new members will take an oath to become Beer Ambassadors in Portugal. Among the new inductees is Hugo Moreira Luís, the President of the Mafra Municipal Council. The event will include a traditional procession through the streets of Mafra, followed by a festive dinner. Founded in 2003, the Confraria has historically included various public figures and industry representatives.
