Confucius Institute offers free Chinese language courses in Serbia

The Confucius Institute of the University of Novi Sad is organizing free Chinese language courses in collaboration with several institutions in Serbia for the 2026/2027 academic period.

In Vojvodina, the Archives of Vojvodina will host in-person classes starting in October 2026. These include a beginner course (HSK 1) and an advanced course (HSK 2) taught by a native speaker. The curriculum covers phonetics, basic communication, and Chinese cultural customs.

Additionally, the Faculty of Economics in Subotica is offering free online courses ranging from A1 to B1 levels. These programs focus on vocabulary, grammar, and character reading/writing. Students wishing to take exams for internationally recognized certificates may face a small fee of approximately 1,200 RSD. The application deadline for these programs is September 25, 2026.
