Cong An Ha Noi aims for victory against Kyoto Sanga in AFC Champions League Elite

Cong An Ha Noi head coach Alexandre Polking has expressed his intention to secure a victory against Kyoto Sanga at Hang Day Stadium during the fourth round of the AFC Champions League Elite 2026-2027. Following a historic away win against Shanghai Port, the Vietnamese club currently holds 3 points, sitting just one point behind the eighth position required to reach the knockout stages.

Coach Polking noted that the team is managing player fitness after a dense schedule, including a recent V-League match. He acknowledged the difficulty of the group stage, which features five Japanese teams, and emphasized that Kyoto Sanga remains a formidable opponent despite their current standing in the J1 League.

Midfielder Le Van Do stated that the team is focused on improving their performance compared to their previous match against Kashima Antlers, aiming to secure points and keep their hopes of advancing in the tournament alive.
