Vietnamese footballer Cong Phuong and his wife, Vien Minh, are noted for their private lifestyle, making their 2020 wedding celebrations a significant event in the local football community.

The wedding festivities spanned six months and included multiple locations such as Ho Chi Minh City, Phu Quoc, and Nghe An. Following a private engagement ceremony in June 2020, the couple held a wedding reception on November 16, 2020, at the Gem Center in Ho Chi Minh City. To maintain privacy, guests were required to use key cards and register their information to receive event photos.

A second celebration for close family and friends took place on November 18, 2020, at a beach location within the InterContinental resort in Phu Quoc.
