Congalsa acquires Lenger Seafoods Vietnam facility in Ninh Binh

Spanish food company Congalsa has completed the acquisition of Lenger Seafoods Vietnam Co., Ltd. from the Dutch group The Lenger Seafoods Group B.V. The transaction involves the transfer of all charter capital, granting Congalsa full ownership of the company’s business operations and processing facilities in Vietnam.

The acquired facility is located in the An Xa Industrial Cluster in Ninh Binh province. Spanning 5 hectares, the plant operates three production lines utilizing technologies such as nitrogen IQF quick freezing and X-ray product inspection. The facility has a reported processing capacity of up to 300 tons of raw clams per day.

Following the ownership change, Spanish national Luis Miguel Simarro Espla has been registered as the Company Chairman and legal representative. Nguyen Ho Nguyen will continue to serve as General Director. The company serves over 50 corporate customers across more than 10 export markets, primarily supplying retail chains in Spain, Italy, and Portugal.
