Congo-Brazzaville sets Q3 2026 fiscal hydrocarbon prices
The Congolese Ministry of Hydrocarbons has established the fiscal reference prices for the third quarter of 2026. Presided over by Minister Stev Simplice Onanga, the committee set prices for five national production products to guide tax calculations, royalty tracking, and investor discussions.
The Nkossa Blend was set at $94.067 per barrel (approximately 53,626 FCFA), while the Djeno Blend was fixed at $91.180 (nearly 51,980 FCFA). The Yombo product reached $89.765 per barrel. For gas products, Nkossa Butane was priced at $46.793 and Nkossa Propane at $32.983.
In related industry developments, Trident OGX CEO Lucien Ebata announced ambitions to increase company production from 2,500 barrels per day to between 45,000 and 50,000 barrels per day within two years. This growth strategy relies on the MKB permit located in southern Congo-Brazzaville, specifically targeting the Mengo field by 2027.
