Congo launches new mining cadastre headquarters and provincial social security office
Governor Daniel Bumba inaugurated the new headquarters of the Mining Cadastre (CAMI) in Kinshasa, located at the intersection of Kasa‑Vubu and Mpolo in the Gombe district. The modern facility is intended to improve governance, transparency, and traceability of mining title administration, a strategic sector for the Congolese economy.
Vice‑Premier and Minister of Public Service, Jean‑Pierre Lihau laid the foundation stone for the provincial CNSSAP building in Inongo, Mai‑Ndombe. The R+1 structure will house administrative offices, a meeting room, archives and modern equipment such as solar backup power, a generator, fire‑suppression systems and video surveillance, aiming to bring social‑protection services closer to public‑sector employees.
