Congolese handball gala tournaments held in Brazzaville and Pointe-Noire
The ‘Le Réveil du handball congolais’ initiative continues to organize gala tournaments across Congo-Brazzaville to maintain athlete activity and visibility for clubs. Recent fixtures were held in Brazzaville and Pointe-Noire, the country’s two largest cities, to sustain competitive rhythm during periods between official rounds.
In Brazzaville, the seventeenth matchday featured high-scoring games, including a 32-32 draw between Patronage and JSO in the senior men’s category. Other results included Petro Orange defeating Lion Sport 30-25, and CFPNT winning a close U16 match against Renaissance 19-17. In the senior women’s category, ASOC secured a 27-26 victory over ASEL, while Lion Sport defeated CFPNT 36-22.
In Pointe-Noire, the fourteenth matchday was also underway, featuring a defensive 19-16 win by NHA Sport over Inter. Organizers are currently preparing for a major upcoming event in Pointe-Noire that aims to bring together all affiliated teams.
