Congolese innovators called to participate in FrancoTech 2026
The Delegation General for Francophonie has issued a call for Congolese innovators, startups, and researchers to participate in the second edition of FrancoTech. Scheduled for November 14–16, 2026, in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, the event will take place alongside the 20th Francophonie Summit under the theme ‘United by Francophonie, Driven by Digital.’ The salon offers innovation contests, scholarship programs with full coverage for young technopreneurs, and international networking opportunities.
In Kinshasa, the third edition of the ‘Messe Entrepreneuriale’ is scheduled for August 29, 2026, at the Université pédagogique nationale (UPN). Organized by Jérémie Inonga and the JIF Foundation, the event aims to foster entrepreneurship among Congolese youth through conferences, masterclasses, and professional exchanges. The initiative seeks to encourage young people to pursue private sector opportunities and business creation as drivers for the nation's future economy.
