Congress leader Husain Dalwai challenges Amit Shah over Bhagavad Gita comment

Congress leader Husain Dalwai responded to Home Minister Amit Shah’s public advice that youth should read the Bhagavad Gita. Dalwai said Shah should first disclose whether he himself has read the scripture, adding that Shah has made many mistakes despite claiming to follow it.

Dalwai also addressed allegations of financial irregularities at Mumbai’s Siddhivinayak Temple, urging an investigation into alleged theft of donation funds meant for poor children’s education. He supported Maharashtra Socialist Party chief Abu Azmi’s call for employment over free food rations, and echoed concerns raised by Shiv Sena leader Raj Thackeray about the temple’s donation handling.
