Congress leaders in Telangana dispute KTR's AI video claims

Political tensions in Telangana have escalated following allegations by Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) leader KT Rama Rao (KTR) regarding the authenticity of political footage. KTR claimed that certain videos circulating from recent political confrontations were artificially generated by the ruling Congress government to malign the BRS party.

Congress MLA Addanki Dayakar refuted these claims, asserting that the visual evidence was captured and broadcast by mainstream media, national channels, and newspapers. Dayakar argued that the opposition is attempting to create a negative impression of the administration and challenged KTR to file formal complaints if he believes specific content is AI-generated.

In a separate legal development, Congress MP Mallu Ravi has filed a police complaint in Hyderabad seeking an FIR against KTR. The complaint alleges that KTR made derogatory and insulting remarks against Chief Minister Revanth Reddy during a media address. Ravi characterized the comments as a personal attack on the Chief Minister’s dignity rather than legitimate political criticism. Police are currently seeking legal opinion regarding the complaint.
